For scoliosis and the pain that keeps coming back
Your scoliosis is a pattern your nervous system runs. In four live weeks, I'll teach you to change it.
Not by forcing the shape or strengthening it, but by working the pattern underneath, where your posture is actually generated.
Four live weeks with Sam. Starts Tuesday.
On the next page, choose the VIP plan to join the live cohort.
The live cohort starts August 25. Don't want to wait? That's Premium, $57 a month, and it opens the day you join. Recordings only, one session a week. Not the live cohort, and not live time with Sam. The live cohort is VIP. See both below.
Somatic education for people living with scoliosis, built to work alongside your medical care. Not medical treatment.
You've tried physio, chiro, Schroth, yoga. They all missed the same thing.
Every one of them is real work, and every one works on the same layer: the muscle, the joint, the shape you can see. Stretch the tight side. Strengthen the weak side. Adjust the bone. Hold the correction.
But your posture isn't made in the muscle or the bone. Your nervous system generates it, the same system that has been protecting you your whole life. The curve is part of how it adapted to keep you upright and safe. It didn't fail you. It adapted. And it will keep regenerating that shape, no matter how hard you work the muscles around it, until the system itself gets new information.
That is the piece everything you've tried has left untouched. Not because those methods are wrong, but because they work one layer above where the shape is actually made. Here is the hopeful part: because the shape is generated by your nervous system, it can be updated by your nervous system. That is the layer we work in. The body that made the pattern is the only thing that can change it.
Your posture is the physical output of a predictive map in your nervous system. Update the map, not just the muscle and bone, and the shape it generates can change.
The place that pattern lives most is your pressure. Deep in your core is a canister of pressure, the real core underneath your six-pack. Sealed and full, it carries your spine from the inside, so standing tall costs you almost nothing.
Your deep-core canister: the diaphragm above, the deep abdominals around it, the pelvic floor below. Sealed and full, it carries your spine from the inside.
Scoliosis twists that canister. And a twisted canister can't hold its pressure, so the support your spine was getting from the inside quietly leaks away.
Without that support the spine loses its lift, and your muscles rush in to hold you up instead, gripping, bracing, guarding, all day long. That constant bracing is a large part of what you feel as pain and stiffness.
You've been holding yourself up with the wrong muscles for years.
So why hasn't all that core work lasted?
Because most core training teaches you to brace harder. More gripping, more guarding, tighter and stiffer. You end up doing more of the exact thing that already hurts.
Your deep core was never meant to work by bracing. It works by pressure. Restore the pressure, and the bracing muscles can finally let go. This is the piece almost no one trains.
You cannot stretch or strengthen a twist back into place. You restore the pressure.
And there's a deeper difference. Stretching and strengthening make the posture you already have stronger. This teaches your body the conditions to generate a new one. You're not reinforcing the old shape. You're updating the default your nervous system runs.
"I definitely feel taller. All these exercises I'd done were lacking this one element. If I start with the pressure, my exercises just benefit."
Member, chronic back pain · Week 4The missing first step
What you walk away with.
This is the skill the rest of your work stands on, and it stays yours. In four weeks, here's what becomes part of you:
- The skill of sealing and holding your own deep-core pressure, so your spine gets support from the inside again.
- The conditions to update the posture your body defaults to, instead of spending the rest of your life strengthening the one you already have.
- Interoception, the skill of listening to your nervous system and working with it, instead of against it.
- More capacity in your nervous system, so you can meet stress and load without bracing against it.
- An awareness that carries into everything else you do, every workout, every walk, every hour at a desk.
- An 18-minute daily practice you built yourself, yours to keep for life.
- Less of the daily bracing that shows up as pain and stiffness.
You stop outsourcing your body. You become the one who can change it.
Not instead of everything else you do. Underneath it, and yours for life.
In their own words
What people are saying in the first few weeks.
"My upper body aligned and it was a fantastic feeling. I didn't have to stay straight or feel the twist. I didn't have to do any work. It just worked."
Female, 67, severe S-curve scoliosis (85°) · Week 2"I gave up the brace. This was my way to run from bracing and surgery. I feel great. I exercise. I have my routine. I'm independent, happy, and healthy."
Female, 67, severe S-curve scoliosis (85°)"During the first cohort I could walk a little without losing pressure. Now I can walk two miles, barely thinking about it, and I've got my midline."
Returning member, scoliosis · across two cohorts"I'm not noticing as much pain in my low back, now that I can fill out that canister and move with the structure."
Female, scoliosis and rib asymmetry · Week 3"After the first session, the bracing I was doing with low back pain was less."
Male, 30, scoliosis and disc herniation · Week 2"After 34 years of scoliosis and doctors telling me I needed surgery, my belief about what's possible shifted."
Female, 46, scoliosis (45°)
Real member posture and decompression changes, no surgery. The curve itself does not disappear.
Member experiences from the live cohorts, in their own words. This works alongside your medical care, never instead of it, and individual results vary and are not guaranteed.
Live, together
A journey inward, to feel your core again.
Four live weeks of turning your attention inward, to sense your deep core and seal the pressure leaks where your support has been slipping away. Everyone who shows up gets Sam's eyes on their body, live, and real-time feedback on their own practice. No one is left to figure it out alone.
The founder
Eighty-five degrees. No surgery. Out of the daily pain.
At 18 a surgeon refused me and sent me home to live with it. For fifteen years I believed the curve was my ceiling. At 33 my body collapsed, fatigue, digestion, energy, all going offline from the inside. What turned it around wasn't more stretching or strength. It was restoring the pressure my body had stopped delivering. Over the years, without surgery, I regained about two inches of height, from decompressing a compressed spine, not from the curve shrinking. The curve is still there. These fundamentals are what keep me out of the daily pain, years on.
Sam didn't just find this in his own body. He published the research behind it, the Neural Generation Hypothesis and the Generative Posture Framework. That same year, the world's largest scoliosis congress called for exactly this kind of unifying account.
Four live Tuesdays, 9:30am ET, with Sam in the room. Starts August 25. Early-bird $347 through August 17.
The four weeks
Floor to standing. A daily practice you own.
Turn up the signal.
Ground, breath, jaw, eyes. You feel the difference between forcing a shape and allowing one, and you finally feel why nothing held before.
Restore the pressure.
You seal and fill the canister so it carries your spine again. Most people describe this as the week something clicks.
Find your edge.
You take the pressure into movement, floor to standing, and learn to work at the edge of your map without waking the old pattern.
Own the practice.
It all assembles into an 18-minute daily practice you built yourself. Yours to keep, and it keeps updating your nervous system.
The real cost
You've likely spent more than this already, on things that didn't last.
Think back over the last few years of trying to get out of this pain. The physio at a hundred a visit. The chiropractor, month after month. Massage, Schroth, the specialists, the gadgets. Most people living with this spend thousands, year after year, on relief that fades by the next week, because it worked on the symptom and never reached the pattern underneath it.
- $100 to $200 a physio visit
- A chiropractor, month after month
- Massage, Schroth, specialists, gadgets
- Relief that fades, so you pay again
- $347 for the year, about $29 a month
- Less than a single physio visit, monthly
- A skill that's yours for life, no per-visit fee
- Works the pattern, not another symptom
You stop renting relief. You learn to generate your own.
At about $29 a month, billed annually, it costs less than a single physio visit. And what you learn in these four weeks is yours to keep, alongside your care, never instead of it.

The research, if you want to go deeper
For a hundred years, scoliosis was a mystery. Now there's a method to it.
Doctors call it idiopathic, which is just the medical word for a cause no one could name. For a century, that was the honest answer. It is the part that is changing. In the last decade, study after study points back toward the same place, the nervous system that builds your posture, more than the bone alone. Line them up, and for the first time there is something methodical to work with.
Sensing can seed a curve.
Disrupt the body-sensing part of the brain in growing animals and nearly half develop scoliosis. Not one control did. The muscles worked, the spine was normal. The faulty sensing did it.
The sensing fails first.
Raise animals without position-sensing neurons and they develop scoliosis, while early on the bone and muscle are still normal. The sensing fails first. The curve comes after.
It's written in the genes, on both sides.
The same risk genes surface across tens of thousands of people with scoliosis. Some build the sensing system. Some build the discs and ligaments. One does both.
Growth prints it in.
A slight lean, carried through the growth years, grows into a real curve from uneven load alone. Load one side of a growing bone and it grows crooked to match.
The nervous system makes it home.
However it begins, this is where they all arrive. The curve becomes the shape your nervous system now predicts as upright, and generates on autopilot. That still-generating part is what the four weeks work.
The person who found the problem built the solution.
Sam didn't read this in a textbook. He mapped it. He published the Neural Generation Hypothesis, the account of how scoliosis starts in the nervous system, not the bone, and that same year, the field's largest scoliosis congress called for exactly this kind of unifying account. Then he built the Reset from it. The findings above are peer-reviewed. The way they connect into one chain is Sam's own synthesis, published open access with a DOI and not itself peer-reviewed, and it's testable.
This works alongside your care, never instead of it. It won't straighten bone, and it's never a reason to delay a brace, a surgery, or the check-ups that track a curve. A curve that is changing fast, or hurting, is a conversation for your doctor first.
Questions
Your curve isn't what keeps the pain coming back. The pressure leak is.
And unlike your curve, a leak is something you can close.
